STATICS FOR GLASS STRUCTURES

Basically every glass structure must be determined statically.

Any glasses with supporting functions for instance in canopies, all-glass balustrade fixed linear or point, must undergo structural calculation to define size, thickness, distance of holes and its size.
It also must consider environmental conditions, such as snow load and wind load, as well as loads resulting from utilization.
Only properly engineered glass structures provide for your personal safety as defined in the SIA rules and regulations.
